As a Data & ML Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building and scaling our core MMM platform. You'll work within our Insights Squad alongside data scientists, full-stack developers, and product experts to create the tooling that empowers marketers to analyse and optimise their marketing investments.

The role in a nutshell:
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our product team, you will:
- Build Marketing Analytics Tools: Design and implement scalable systems that enable marketers to derive actionable insights from their media performance data.
- Performance Optimisation: Ensure our codebase is not just functional but highly performant, optimising algorithms and data processing for speed and efficiency.
- User-Facing Analytics: Develop the backend systems that power intuitive dashboards and reporting tools for marketing teams.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply Bayesian statistics and econometric principles to solve complex marketing attribution and optimisation problems.
- Platform Development: Build and maintain the tooling infrastructure that transforms raw data into strategic marketing insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, UX, and marketing teams to understand user needs and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in ML engineering or data engineering roles.
- Strong Python programming skills and software engineering best practices.
- Solid understanding of statistics, particularly Bayesian methods.
- Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data visualisation and analytics tools (understanding of how data is consumed by business users).
- Knowledge of marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Experience building user-facing analytics applications.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
- Familiarity with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) or similar frameworks.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools.
- Understanding of advertising/marketing domain.
Tech Stack:
- Languages: Python, SQL.
- ML & Stats: PyMC3, Bayesian modelling, econometrics, Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Data: BigQuery, large-scale data processing.
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Tools: Git, JIRA, modern development practices.
